Dead Souls ended up a Phalanx Covenant rehash. Disassembled was a “greatest hits done to death” rehash. This is just Lemire’s run but repackaged with Cyclops and Wolverine on the front cover. Rosenberg, can you come up with something else? Can you come up with something else???

Dead Souls ended up a Phalanx Covenant rehash? You MUST be joking as it had no ties with the Phalanx at all. It was a story of Tran, the big bad bro of Karma returning, Magik putting kittens through limbo and Warlock's return.

Did you read the mini at all? It had not a thing in common with the Phalanx crossover.

I can't say the preview is particularly exciting, and the art isn't for me either. I'm personally more excited for #12. This issue is centered on Scott and Logan and the entire 'mutants are a dying species' thing again from what I can tell. I'm waiting on Dani, Illyana & Sean next issue. Maybe some Emma or Roberto depending on what Rosenberg is doing with them while the X-Men are away.

One thing I am interested in, which likely won't even be addressed, is how many X-Men and fellow mutants remain in 616? From what I can tell, there are still dozens of them around, based upon who didn't show up for the Disassembled battle.

JDW: ... Readers have no idea where we are headed yet… it’s going to be a crazy ride. 2019 is gonna change everything for the X-Men.
