I didn't see a thread for this so I decided to make one myself.
Any ideas what this will even be about? There is no plot synopsis but the cover art looks like it will be an Amazon Attacks type of story.

The press release said it was going to be an original story and did not mention any comic book like other DC animated movie
It definitely feels like it's going to be about Zeus and possibly other aspects from Azz's run, which is disappointing IMO. DC didn't think enough of the New 52 to keep it so why not focus on storylines centered in Rebirth?
Well, to be fair, they think enough of the Zeus origin to keep it despite certain writers not liking it. Its still canon, Rucka wasn't allowed to retcon it and neither is Wilson. Hence their just ignoring it.
At this point I think they might as well, but to date, its still an edict that it be kept. So its not entirely inconsistent to do DCAMU movie about it (if indeed this is in the current universe's continuity).

For the first time since her fan-favorite 2009 animated movie, Wonder Woman will take center stage in an original animated movie called Wonder Woman: Bloodlines. Not much is known about this mysterious—but very exciting—bonus movie, but expect to learn more next year.

DC already stated this isn't going to be based in the new 52 storyline. I hope this is true. All of they new 52 movies are shared universe. This one is stand alone if they followed what they pray
Honestly, I'm not sweating over this even if they use the Zeus origin. These movies are certainly profitable, but the general public is unaware they even exist. This one especially will probably go under the radar, since DC seems really uninterested in promoting it so far (sneaking the press release of two lines in a much much larger press release about an adaptation of Batman: Hush).
The link provided only calls it an original movie. Is that concrete parlance for out-of-continuity (serious question, not being snarky)? Otherwise I'm not seeing it as much a confirmation of anything other than what they outright state: nothing insofar as details are known right now.
If it isn't it isn't, but I'd rather hope it is because after Death/Reign then Hush, it would make sense for the next AMU movie to focus on Wonder Woman. And so on and so forth.

They have announced new 52 is a shared universe. Wouldn't they have stated that with Wonder Woman? It's a stand alone and original story.

A Wonder Woman story called “Bloodlines” automatically brings to mind her relationship with Zeus and the Greek Pantheon.
But it could also potentially reference Hippolyta. Maybe they could be doing a “sins of the father(mother?)” type deal with Hippolyta, the other Amazon tribes an Artemis.
Kind of an edgy take considering Animated Diana has been pretty upbeat and light hearted, but it’s something other than zeus lol
I don't care one way or the other what her origin is in this, because hopefully it isn't another origin movie. Zeus, clay, none of it should get more than a passing reference in between plot point A and plot point B, depending on what the plot is.
I’d rather they make it about the Amazon sex raids and manazons as opposed to making any references to Zeus.
