Man, what I wouldn't give for a book where we could explore Tyroc, the Marzal, and the full range of his reality warping screams. He could be one of DC's most powerful black heroes.
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.

    currently following:
    • DC: Red Hood: The Hill
    • Marvel: TBD
    • Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force

Vixen gets my vote with John, Cyborg and Black Lightning coming in a three way tie for second place.

If DC wanted to make a Vixen movie, I think they should go with the magical side of her abilities. Give her magic beings to fight. I was thinking she should fight a high level magic users like Blaze or Satanus...which could tie into the Captain Marvel/Shazam franchise. I could also go with her fighting the tribes of Onini the Python, Osebo the Leopard, and the Mboro Hornets, the enemies of Anansi the Spiders.
Some of us wait, some of us act.

If I where making a Vixen movie, I'd have her be from Ghana since that's the country of origin for her mythology.

I think it would be best to create or develop her own villains and leave Shazam villains to Shazam.

Haha ya I was going to put him but then I based my vote on everything from comics to the media stuff and Bronze Tiger wins for me. I mainly love Aqualad from YJ and no where else. If his comic version gets better than he would be number 1.

I never knew this much about Tyroc. Unfortunately, the Legion books I read never featured him, but I knew of him and what he looked like. This costume is a lot better than his first one.

With his real name being Troy Stewart i'm surprised they have not made him a descendant of Green Lantern John Stewart.

Thats exactly I didn't pick him, I wish they would put more effort into the comic version. He's way too good a character to be wasted.

I have to say, the list on the first page is one of the most well together lists of heroes I've ever seen. I pride myself on my knowledge of DC lore but there is a whole bunch of characters I didn't know about before.

As for the poll, I voted for John Stewart. I've been re-watching Justice League Unlimited and once again realizing just how well written the character was on the show.

I picked Vixen ...I love that character and more than anything I love the potential she has, I just wish DC would stop making multiple comics about the same characters and start investing in unused or neglected characters.

I also hope maybe I'll get to see Kid Quantum II (aka Jazmin Cullen) in LoS once that's brought back.

My priority is black female characters; everything else is secondary.

    ~~

Marvel: Miles Morales, Riri Williams, Ororo Munroe, Thor, Quentin Quire.
DC Comics: Vixen, Batman, Bat Family, John Stewart, Roy Harper, Tempest, Poison Ivy, Raven.
Comics: Y: The Last Man, Justice League America (2009), Ultimate Comics: All New Spider-Man (2011)
Ships: Thororo/ThunderStorm, Vixen/hasn't been created, Jason Todd/Kathy Duquesne.

Agree. Sadly DC doesn't seem to care about the new legionnaires introduced in the 90s since none of them have made appearances since the 90s except for Gates.
