He didn't give Longshot an illegal contract to sign because he was an alien, BTW --the director didn't know about this. He did it in order to avoid taxes, risk prevention normative, labor law and all that. Everyday occurrence...
Yeah, but you can't just dump bodies around. That's just unhealthy.

I agree, dumping trash in the river is forbidden.

Too bad that it was illegal, so when he had a shooting serious accident the movie director threw him to the river instead of riding him to a hospital. Thus, no wages at all.
    LOL, that's true. Good insight.

If the X-men had a wit of sense their wealthier members would just bribe I mean lobby Congress for pro mutant laws.

A pro-mutant super-PAC funded by Xavier's estate, Emma, Sean, Warren, Monet, Roberto, Betsy, etc. would be pretty cool. Pick a personable non-mutant as the 'face' of the PAC (Sam Guthrie's mom, Lucinda?) and let her run it. International support could come from Atlantis and Wakanda, among other places.

In the earliest years, Xavier had government ties and contacts, but that age of cooperation between the government and mutants seems to be long past. (And some of that might be on Xavier, for not arranging for his students to be better tied into that, so that if he died, it wouldn't all just dry up and blow away.)

Pretty sure Logan too is indipendently wealth, but is anybody guess
Psylocke much like her brother are very wealthy. The Braddock never had to worry about money
Monet(of course, and she is one of the classiest)
    ROOOOOBEEERRTO DAAAAAAA COOOOSSSSSSSTAAAAAA
    Emma Frost
Storm income is a mistery since the marriage with Black Panther
Jean had an entire secret cave filled with treasures, the X-men are apparently financially adept, somehow.

    Is Betsy still rich anyway?

Jason Aaron gave them a Krakoa that can shit diamonds because he could not find another way to finance his Wolverine and the X-Men, I do not think they have money problems.
