Default Create Your Own Cosmic Marvel Line

The Task: Create your own Marvel Cosmic line of 5-6 titles, with creative teams and their mission statement. Leave Guardians and Asgardians of the Galaxy with the same rosters, and creative, other than that go hog wild and create.

Bonus if you can pitch a crossover featuring the characters as well.

First book: Adam Warlock-written by Jonathan Hickman, art by Aaron Kuder.

Pitch: Adam Warlock’s soul has been stolen, and he’s in search of the soul stone in order to restore it and make himself whole again. Mantis joins him on his quest, as her Celestial Madonna powers begin to wax and wane, and she also seeks to learn the answers why and restore them. The source for both of their problems lies in Mantis’ son, the Celestial Messiah, who has been driven insane by an unnamed entity. They track the Messiah to Tamal, the Cotati’s home world, where Sequoia has established as the throne world of his newly established empire.

    Sounds interesting!

What ever happened to Sequoia? Has he ever been featured? What exactly are his powers?

He was last seen in the Celestial Madonna Quest from the early 2000’s, in some far flung galaxy.

Thanks! I’m loving Marquez’s covers for the new Guardians book. It just needs more women.

Thanks, I figure these cosmic powerhouses would work well together. I edited the mission statement and such into my earlier post

Second book: Darkhawk-written by Sims/Bowers, art by Sean Izaakse.

Pitch: Darkhawk’s consciousness is trapped inside of the armor, as his physical form was destroyed, he’s amnesias, and drifting throughout the universe. His amnesia has been caused by the Supreme Intelligence, who has returned to life, and in possession of the Mind Stone. The Supreme Intelligence has transferred his own consciousness into his Supremor artificial life form. He’s using the Mind Stone to cause a secret coup over the Galactic Counsel, and co-opted the Fraternity of Raptors as his own military force to overthrow the current Kree regime. He was also the secret source for Nyx, the Inhuman killer during the Death of the Inhumans mini, just to obtain control over the Inhumans, in order to better assist his coup.

This will be a gritty sci-fi war romp.

Third book: Quasar-written by Margaret Stohl, art by Carlos Pacheco.

Pitch: Avril Kincaid is reborn, after her seemingly final demise during Secret Empire, but is alone, out among the cosmos. Avril is searching how to get home, when Epoch mentally summons her to Epoch’s location. Vowing to train her to become the new Protector of the Universe, Avril spends several months among Marvel’s pantheon of Cosmic Beings, while secretly Abraxis is setting up a plot to make Avril his herald. Corrupting Avril, Abraxis turns her, and the gems create a duplicate set and are bequeathed to Doctor Minerva, where Minerva and Avril fight to save the Galaxy.

I’d buy this in a minute.

I’d actually like to see something like this, but I don’t want to run the risk of turning them into morally gray characters.

No creative teams, cause that's 2 much 4 me.

    1. Wraith
Wraith has the whole man with no name thing going on for him, and I need a space western. Some combination of Jonah Hex, Trigun, and Vampire Hunter D. He's just wondering around, and the problems find him. It will be in the vein of Robinson's Nick Fury, every issue is a stand alone story.

    2. Accusers
Marvel is full of worlds, but they don't do a deep dive of the world, their cultures, and their problems that much. I think the Kree are interesting enough to do this with. It will be like Judge Dread with Ronan the Accuser and Tanalth the Pursuer. Of course, Ronan has gone soft and Tanalth is as hard as diamonds. These two protagonists won't always be together, but when they do they'll have the dynamic of the tired Cop that knows everything is more gilded than it seems but still has to play by the book, and the new guy that's still draw to more hardened and simplistic ideals of right and wrong. It will explore the positive and negatives of both outlooks as they both change for better or for worse.

    3. Starjammers
I like 'em. I like 'em a lot. Buuuut, I feel like it is necessary for them to differentiate themselves from the Guardians of the Galaxy (both the comic and the movie versions). In this case, that might require a firm mission statement. This will be the story of the Starjammers using all of their roguish skills to protect a cosmic anomaly, a celestial of forgiveness.

    4. The Unknown
This will be the prequel to Omega the Unknown that no one is asking for. It will take place waaaaaaaay in the past, and follow these noble and charming space cops as they go to war with the mysterious robots that end up being the death of them. It will have a throwback art style and start fairly simplistic, almost like a comic for children, but overtime it will delve deeper and deeper into the horrors of war.

    5. Never Queen
John Jameson is sent on a mission to investigate a mysterious satellite, but once he's there he finds that the sentient satellite has already been invading by the rambunctious Cammi. It is while John tries to convince Cammi to get in his ship so he can complete the exploration of the satellite and return them both to Earth that the sattelite teleports into a universe of things that never were, smack dab in the center of the Never Queen. Thus, using the satellite as a base, Man-Wolf and Cammi find the nearest planet when they have to stop invading moon zombies. After that, they just have one weird adventure after another as the satellite stubbornly teleports them from place to place, evil ice cream men, people with fork hands, and instructions for new furniture that make no sense once or ever. Jameson tries to control the Man-Wolf and Cammi and finds that he simply isn't very good at controlling either. Eventually they are joined by Cammi's non-existent little sister, the only person more cunning than Cammi herself, who happens to have the mutant power to have pizza delivered to her at anytime and any place. Through their many weird somewhat spooky all ages adventures John, Cammi, Cammi's sister, and the satellite all form a begrudgingly familial bond, and then the satellites parents come to take her back home! Oh no! What's the crew to do? Find out in the next exciting issue of Never Queen.

    GotG - Cates & Shaw

    Knowhere - Hopeless & Allred

Cosmo, Chief of Secruity on Knowhere, has brought together a band of loners and individuals who seemingly have nothing in common, to make his job a little easier. The guys keep the peace on Knowhere and rise to meet the challenge of any other problems that might arise at the edge of spacetime. The roster...

    Cammi
A feisty young earthling. She first came to Cosmo’s attention when she was caught smuggling some hot merchandise through Knowhere. He finds out she has links to his old friend Drax and realises she survived both the Annihilation wave and Murder World. Impressed by her skills and determination, he asks her to lead his new team, in return for asylum and protection.

    Warrior Zero
Once the proud Warrior One, of Prime. He had his life turned upside down when we was humiliated by the Silver Surfer. Failing to take his revenge, he is now a shadow of the man he used to be and has spent many months drowning his sorrows in Starlin’s, a bar in Knowhere. After one barfight too many, Cosmo has decided to try and use that pent up aggression for a greater good. Doesn’t like taking orders from a kid.

    Death’s Head
A wily, skilled combatant. This freelance peace-keeping agent spends much of his time between jobs on Knowhere. He had no hesitation in joining Cosmo’s team, once a fee was established. Doesn’t mind taking orders from a kid, for the right price.

    Vision.
She is not of this Universe. Warning planets of Gah Lak Tus and collecting data is no longer her primary directive. She doesn’t know how she ended up in this universe but Cosmo was the first friendly face she saw and she hasn’t had many friends. She’s happy to help him out.

Nova - Jason Aaron & Kev Walker
Life not been easy for Richard Rider since he returned from the Cancerverse.
The burgeoning Nova Corps would like him to return in a leadership capacity but he’s not ready for that yet. He just wants to travel amongst the stars and find himself. What’s more, he keeps getting a distorted warning from someone calling themselves Rael Rider.

Silver Surfer - Donny Cates & Andre Lima Araújo
I have no premise here, just think that’s a kickass creative team for the character.
