Well, that's great. Looking forward to seeing him on the show.

I think they may have to rename him Wildkitten.

Why's that? Ramirez, a bit young, do you feel?

Or, is this a change in gender, or not enough muscle...?

He'll probably train Laurel in fighting so she can take the mantle of Black Canary after Sara dies.

Yeah, it's just the age thing. When I think Ted Grant, you want someone who looks like they've really lived. Someone who looks like they've got the kind of experience to be a trainer and mentor to a new generation of a heroes.

Apparently though, this Ted is going to be a potential love interest for Laurel so he's been CW'd.

Alright. Thought they just changed Teds' skin colour, but interesting it was the age as well.

Think if that was the reason, a man in his 30s, say, wouldn't be too bad, I think, but, once more, hopefully he does well with material given, even if he isn't the ideal Wildcat for some.

Sounds interesting to some degree, reminds me of Adam and Lana in Smallville, or makes a picture of the boxing training place in Season 7 of House.

Hope it works, along with Katana, Atom, Flash, etc.

After (if) Sara dies, my interest in Arrow's Canary also dies.

Any reason? Not like Nyssa, Dinah, or Laurel in the role?

He is younger than I was expecting. But you don't have to be an older guy to be a highly skilled boxer, so it's really not that big a deal to me. Besides, everyone has been cast younger than their comic book counterparts on this show.

He wasn't always the old mentor.
An "Oscar De La Hoya" type of boxer (age and body type) makes a perfect w/c for me.

He is really young, I would have expected someone like max martini to play ted grant, a late 30's early 40's type. I have grown to trust the arrow creative team so its all good. I wish they would added him to the new 52 though.

If there is anything I like about Arrow it's giving other DC characters a chance to shine on a live adaptation.

    AHAHAH

And nobody likes Laurel. Every episode I was actively cheering on situations she could die in.
