Injustice SUPERBOY and WONDER GIRL

I wanted to ask what happened to SUPERBOY and WONDER GIRL in INJUSTICE?

I know that they were imprisoned and he had a surgery on his heart and they fought Amazo and then get captured by Brainiac and rescued by Booster Gold.

BUT what happened then? Why arent Superboy and Wonder Girl in the Games?

They got rescued by Booster and the Legion(i think)

They might be in the next one.

They probably thought they were just gonna be repeats of other heroes, instead of bringing their own unique moves to the game, like TTK for SB, and a lasso lighting strike for Cassie.

I heard that they were rescued, but I was wondering, because they were kept alive so long in the Comics and then they weren't in the Games...

And theoretically they should be alive in Injustice 2...
