It might be interesting to pursue a Planet X storyline where they just cause all the mutants to disappear world wide. I am really in favour of some world destroying event coming after the Mutants leave that makes the human race realize how much danger they are in by driving the mutants away.

Ok because if it's just some miniaturized-illusion then it's too fragile to be viable long term. Like Inception when it's raining or gravity changes.

But then the planet would just get blown up. We all know it would happen.

Too bad they're never around when they're needed. They may as well not exist.

There's no winning in the marvel universe.

The Earth is honestly the safest planet in the universe at this point. That is horrifying.

Of course comic stories are built for action and big drama,That is why this story Utopia story has to end badly. There is no happily ever after in continuous story telling. The X-men could easily live in Genosha in peace but that doesn't make for a good story if you are expecting action.

As for the topic course this Utopia needs to end Nate took away love, sex and families of course it needs to end. Now if someone wants to make an argument for Magma, Rictor, Avalanche and whoever else raise up a land mass and give mutants a homeland on earth which mutants would defend at all cost yeah I can support the "Leave us the hell alone or we will nuke you into the dark ages" utopia on earth I can support that idea.
