What do you think about the inevitable Avengers vs. X-Men movie? There no question that's going to happen, but I am very curious about how the X-Men will be introduced into the MCU.

I think Jean Grey comes back to life, and all hell breaks loose.

Will Marvel bring in the current X-Men actors or are they going to reboot it?

Lol no. The only “current” X-Man I’d bring to the MCU is Deadpool’s computer generated Colossus.

I'm afraid you're on the money with that prediction. I'm not a huge fan of the hero fights hero thing Marvel comes back to so often.

I don't think there's a chance they'll use any of the previous actors, not Stewart or McKellen or the younger actors either. They'll start over just as they did with Spider-Man.

Hard pass if it's anything like the last one.

If it's based on the original Avengers vs X-Men I would be for it.

Dont like it. Honestly I liked the plot of the Xmen vs the Inhuamns better. Where tarragen was killing of Mutants. But I'd rather not do the hero vs hero thing any time soon. Let the Xmen breathe for awhile and develop some relationships.

It will be interesting to see how they bring them in. They will probably be a secret society only now being discovered.

An Avengers vs. X-Men movie? Don't even think about it; we've already had our hero vs. hero movie.

Though I am sick of hero vs hero stories, the infighting we got in the MCU's Civil War was sad and comically pathetic (with the exception of the Steve-Tony-Bucky fight). The MCU could do better.

It won't be anything soon. I would think a full reboot will happen first.

I think we will see an Invaders with Captain America and Namor first.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

You guys are jaded at hero vs hero after reading years and years of comics. The General public isn't and for the general public this their comics universe they have only had one mini taste of hero vs hero in civil war which was cool but very short. The concept X-men versus Avengers are exciting to many people so put your jade fans googles down and remember what it was to be fan for the first time ever. And think of things that excited you as younger fan Avengers vs X-men, JLA vs Avengers, etc.

Avengers vs X-men is less appealing without the big names around from the Avengers. So if you aren't getting the Hulk vs Colossus,Thor vs Storm or Captain America versus Cyclops type match ups it is less impactful. That is only downside and less the chance of it happening as "the big thing event" and happens more as a natural crossover. As a note AvX wasn't the first the X-men and Avengers clashed
