Default Curt Connors/ Lizard Appreciation (2019)

NOTE: This thread is to serve as continuation of the previous "The Curt Connors/ Lizard Appreciation" thread which can be found at

And I just love a visual of the crying Lizard from Amazing Spider-Man #6.

A black and white page from Amazing Spider-Man #6.

And, for the hell of it, a weird-looking real lizard.

Mr. Nickernacker had some Lizard-related original art.

After seeing Cory Smith's Lizard in CC #4 and this page from CC Omega, I'm really liking his Lizard.
When I posted this image, it turned out Nickernacker was the one who commissioned it.

While I like Connors, I’ve become bored with Lizard. Jekyll and Hyde stories can only go on so long before becoming stale.

Someone posted a J. Scott Campbell original on twitter.

    It looks nice.

I've always been a fan of the character. I'm happy more has been done with him in recent years than in the past two decades before this point.

    "A Zoo Story"
A new era begins for Peter Parker as he enrolls in graduate school at Empire State University
and also works as a teaching assistant for the science department.

Peter's first assignment is to attend Dr. Curt Connors' lecture at the Bronx Zoo.

Dr. Connors has been behaving rather strangely in recent days.

Does this mean the Lizard is going to make an appearance? Not quite.
