Okay, honest question: why do I never see anyone calling the Mad Hatter ableist? He's not always a dwarf, but he usually is.

More focus is out on his obsession with Alice in Wonderland and use of mental manipulation.

For starters he isn't always a dwarf like you said.

I liked it when the Mad Hatter looked like Rip Taylor.

I’m old enough to know who this is and I applaud the comparison.

I like Psycho a lot as a Wonder foe and have always been disappointed that he’s not used more as a main Wonder adversary. He’s seemed most Wonder adjacent for many years.

I prefer the Perez and Rucka versions from Wonder Woman, more so than than the version Simone incorporated into the Society.

He’s a terrifying individual and can therefore see his physical stature as being problematic. Besides being a complete visual contrast to the statuesque Diana, I don’t see any value in portraying him as a little person.

What he does with his tele and ectoplasmic powers interest me more than how he is physically depicted.
