I’m really glad that they didn’t have him do anything explicitly stupid or absentminded. That’s just contrived.

Likewise, and cosigned, though I can see Spider-Man's empathy causing friction with the rest of the League that has only one solution for dealing with threats.

Since Spidey tied into War of the Realms I am curious as to your thoughts on it. Did you enjoy the tie-ins more than the main story? I put a review of the event together and am curious as to what y'all thought of it. Thanks.

You're welcome, and thank you for sharing. Personally, I only read the main event and the tie-ins that had Spider-Man or related characters in it. Of the ones that centered on Spider-Man (Peter Parker) like League of Realms and The Land of Giants, I enjoyed them greatly, and they had great moments showing the heroic heart of the web-slinger. I also liked him leading the Hel Spiders into battle in the later chapters of the main War of the Realms series; that was fun as well.

I have a soft spot in my heart for C, D-List (and beyond) characters and it seems like these events are the one time where you can get a chance to see them in action. And for me if I am not interested in the character (like Punisher - he just doesn't grab me in) I won't bother with their tie-ins. But I enjoyed these a lot more than I expected to, especially since I don't read Thor regularly.

P.S. I really do miss Miguel...

He does cameo in the extra-sized ASM 25 by Nick Spencer . . . but it's not looking good for him.

We'll have to wait and see what happens. I'm not ready to count Miguel out yet.
