    how about this?

I always find it unusual that Speedy/Arsenal is considered an original member of Teen Titans even though he technically joined some time after their first adventures.

But Green Arrow, who joined JLofA in issue #4, is viewed as a later member and not an original.

That reminds me of how Captain America was honored with founding Avenger status even though he joined after the team was founded.

Definitely collector items. I tried to find these about 15 or 20 years ago and was firmly told 'forget about it'. Unless I'm mistaken, the collection only contained the cards from Superman to Elongated Man. Batman had left the Justice League to form the Outsiders, so he wasn't a part of the set. He and the Detroit gang were extras that Perez did. Whether they were ever available to the public is unknown to me.

Is there a hero you would include in the classic line-up that was never written into the book. I know Alex Ross always includes Captain Marvel and Plastic Man in a lot of his JLA drawings. What would your additions be, if any?

But, here's the interesting thing. Dick Dillin actually drew the first 2 & 1/2 pages of #184 before he died. However, when George Perez took over, Perez redrew those pages, so we never got to see them until they were reprinted by Alter Ego magazine (issue 30).

Take a gander at what would have been. They were able to get their hands on page 1 and 3 and they printed the George Perez versions for comparison. Great find!

This is the very final art of Dick Dillin's life and long career in comics. I think I actually like Dillin's splash page better than Perez's (although the Darkseid image isn't the best in this pencil-stage), but perhaps Perez's page 3 is better, but not by much. It sure is interesting to compare the two.

This is truly amazing, the JL Crisis New Genesis, Apokolyps Now crossover were some of my first JL comics.

    Thank you for sharing!

Well the previous thread was specifically Satellite Era (bronze Age) , so no that would not have been posted, since it's Secret Sanctuary era (Silver age)
As far as what to post, no, I apologize, I was grumpy the previous thread which was quit rich with imagery and info, had been closed and replaced with this one. If anything I'm going to start re-posting several I already posted in the other thread too. By all means don't hesitate about posting anything new or that has been posted.
This is the place for it, and thanks C-R Lad for starting the new (now Silver and Bronze Age) thread.
