Wolverine: Infinity Watch #1 Preview

This being 616 Logan just makes me that much more confused on the timeline.

Reading the premise alone, this is supposed to explain how everything since Marvel Legacy ties all together, i won't judge until ROW #5 and this come out next week....but my expectations aren't higth, my only hopes if that either Duggan or Cates write a Wolverine solo after this.

Legacy + Infinity Stuff = Phoenix Wolverine

Hunt + Return = Prime Wolverine

Avengers 700 = Phoenix Wolverine goes back to his home planet or whatever to prep for the "flaming shitstorm" of future Avengers stuff coming after telling Loki to go home and tell the Vengies to get more members.

Then Prime Wolverine here is detoured by Loki shenanigans in Infinity Watch, and after that Uncanny happens.

He did die, but he's also a Phoenix, and there will likely be a spotlight issue in Avengers explaining how he came back and came to the present.

War of the Realms is probably Prime Wolverine, being written by Aaron again and getting a New Avengers reunion.

He's not a Celestial and had no additional non-Phoenix powers, just a kimono because he's a weaboo. He conned all of the Celestials, though.
