    Thank you kind internet wanderer.

Ironically, I highly enjoy their immensely entertaining & helpful pro-gun channels. I chose to ignore the occasional "liberal" joke because I value their knowledge. Overall, there are some decent dudes on the other side.

But if you have actually lived there, then clearly your view has more merit.
I lived in both Japan/South Korea for several years & they LOVE the shiny, the cool, the trendy....Alita BA should do gangbusters over there. China seems to really like epic over the top films as long as you stay away from certain topics (ghosts etc).

Yeah, doesn't hurt to be a tall, white handsome devil when your there.

Shhhhhhh Helen. 11 year olds are pretty sharp these days. They get "it".

Probably because Alt+left isn't a real thing? I mean Joy Reid tried to make it a thing but failed horribly. But When Brie Larson is saying things like most of the people interviewing her are white, is that misstating a fact?

Here is what she actually says.

Brie Larson, star of the upcoming Captain Marvel, has always seemed like a good egg. Since securing grade-A status after winning an Oscar for Room, she has worked for survivors of sexual assault and has become an active force in the Times Up movement.

Now she’s making efforts to increase diversity in the press pool.

“About a year ago, I started paying attention to what my press days looked like and the critics reviewing movies, and noticed it appeared to be overwhelmingly white male,” she said.

With this in mind, Larson personally selected Keah Brown – a woman of colour with cerebral palsy – as her interviewer for a Marie Claire feature. Brown noted that: “Nobody usually wants to take a chance on a disabled journalist.”

Larson made a rigorous attempt to confirm that her eyes weren’t deceiving her. There really did seem to be a bias towards the male and the pale
Brie Larson is sick of being interviewed by ‘white dudes’
The ‘Captain Marvel’ star is campaigning for more diversity in the press pool. Will it work?

I agree they all seem like miserable people who probably lost purpose in life and are trying to find it by engaging in wars of why everyone should think just like them on the internet.

It's entertaining to watch sometimes but the coded language is getting crazier by the day. lol
    I guess alt-left =SJW

Can we get back to discussion about Alita and how awesome it was? Great film and likely going to be better than Marvel. Not because of the feminism arguments, but because Marvel has become cookie cutter.

you know I got the feeling, that all this..Alita vs. Captain Marvel(albeit would be an awesome crossover) seem kind of unnatural, a construct planned just to make noise...
    Am I being paranoid?

BTW I'm a big Fan of Alita and I've recently warmed up on Captain Marvel ( to be honesti liked her more when she was Warbird, but as i said i'm warming it up with her now, but this big retcon in comic just confuse me and I find it superfluous...She was better when she was an human struggling to become better by her own desire than being destinied to be such)

This is my stance on things, Alita is offering something new to audiences and that deserves praise. I mean, I may read Marvel comics but I haven't watched a new Marvel movie in years, I find them all so generic and formulaic. Conversely, I've already seen Alita twice at the cinema, once during an advance screening and again during opening week. I plan to see Alita again at least a third time while it's still theatres over the coming weeks. Haven't felt compelled to do anything like this since the release of Avatar; some films really benefit from the cinema experience and Alita is one of them.

Essh...a group calling people a Nazi who they never met before is pretty messed up. Says something about them and how silly the whole thing is.

Yeah Alita has a lot of rewatch ability. I'm probably going to go see it again with some friends on March 8th. Everyone I know isn't interested in seeing Captain Marvel and I have been pretty much indifferent but funny enough the date works out perfectly for all of us to get together to see Altia. lol

Yea, the whole Captain Marvel vs Alita makes no sense. For one they are released a month a part from each other. And the two aren't mutually exclusive. People can watch both and both movies can be successful. The only thing they have in common is a female led.

Given that the meme was started by people with fascist sensibilities as a way to pretend that people who don't agree with you aren't fully human, yeah, it's pretty nazi.

I don't need to know them. If I see them saying nazi things, then I know they're a nazi

Litle alita is going to be beloved. Please watch more awesome videos to see how the media are trying to kill this movie becaise it is a threat to their captain bored.

It’s a tragic sign of the times that Captain Marvel will blow away Alita at the box office and reviews. In addition to being such a great movie, Rosa Salazar has more charm in her pinky finger than Brie Larson will have as carol.
