    So about Negative Man's powers:

It seems like he's indestructible like David Dunn or Luke Cage, and has superhuman resistance to higher and extreme temperatures. Electricity also makes him suffer, but not die like anyone else.
I think his "deformed" aspect is not burning-out, but the effect of the radioactivity that he absorbed.
That would explain how he survived the rocket crash and why you can see - in the origin flashback - the flames barely "scorching" him.

    I love this show.
Love the cast, the script, everything.
This was another great episode, I've said this sentence each time since the start.

LMAO what's the point in that type of title for the episodes?

Seems like a variation of how episodes of some shows or book series use a specific word in every title.

"The ----- Affair", "Mission ------", or how Remington Steele used 'Steele' and Charlie's Angels used 'Angels' in a lot of their titles.

I've always loved the Doom Patrol, especially the Silver Age team, but I already pay a lot for cable TV, so I'm waiting for this show to get a Blu-ray release.

Yeah. But has "Patrol" a double meaning?

    I mean:

"Patrol" in "Doom Patrol" means "patrolling team"
"Patrol" in the episode titles means "Act of patrolling"?

Do you pay a lot for comics? DCU includes thousands, including ones that are only a year old.

I feel bad about this but my LCS is about to lose a lot of my money. I can wait a year for half the DC titles I'm buying each week in order to read them for under $8/month. That's going to save me between $30-40/month easy and I'll be able to check out comics I wouldn't have because they'll all be included. I'm reading a lot I never would have bought now because they come with the service.

Man, how does this show always know how to get me choked up? (or just plain choke with that Beard Hunter scene) I thought the Larry story would get me, but that penultimate scene in the bar really got me.

Vic's admission about Grid and his convo with Jane really drives home the thing these heroes seem to have in common, doesn't it?

    "Look into my elbow." Classic.

God damn this show! If you had told me on episode one I'd be crying over a beautiful ass scene with Negative Man that transitions to an emotional scene with Robotman all scored to Frank Ocean's rendition of Moon River; I don't know what I would've told you to be honest. Goddammit Doom Patrol!
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.

    currently following:
    • DC: Red Hood: The Hill
    • Marvel: TBD
    • Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force
