Between Henry Polic II (Scarecrow), Michael Ansara (Mr. Freeze) and now Efrem, it seems we are losing one or two B:TAS voice actor per year.

Feels like a piece of my adolescence just died. But he lived a very long life, and had a long and great career. He was such a wonderful Alfred, and brought so much personality, intelligence, paternal warmth and wit to the role. (I like that he also shared a birthday with his Batman, Kevin Conroy.)

Daaamn...the best Alfred ever after Michael Caine. I enjoyed his take on Doc Ock too in the 90's Spider-Man animated series. RIP.

That just sucks. I wasn't aware he was pushing 100; I assumed he was in his late 70's or early 80's. The quintessential Alfred. RIP.

I agree.While,without a shadow of doubt,his Alfred was his best voice acting role,his voice as Doc Ock was the closest i would imagine when i read Dr Octopus in comics. Originally Posted by Eivion
