Is keeping Lobdell contained really that important if their cutting down their books. Seems to me a containment book, that floats in and out of the top 100, would be an ideal candidate for cutting. Not that I think this rumor as it is is true, though do I think something is happening within DC. Still, RHO seems like an odd one to pick out as safe if they were putting a limit on their publishing.

Well, with Bendis confirming that the events of The Silencer would be acknowledged in his Leviathan arc, I had some hope for The Silencer at least.
And considering how creatively bankrupt most of the main titles are currently, to me at least, I don't see much interest in the future of DC if the rumors are true.
It /is/ noted to have a very strong following in the office, so someone up top may be keeping it afloat while claiming a steady fanbase and great word-of-mouth, though I admit most of what sold that book for me was Dexter Soy and the dark trinity concept working well.
I can see the book wrapping up after the current arc with Lobdell resolving the disappearance of Bizarro and Artemis later down the line, but it could just as easily continue.
Let's take a closer look at DC's sales for December 2018, the most recent month we have, in order to determine what titles are in danger. The list below is the Diamond chart and does not take into account digital sales.
In December 2018, the top 5 titles in the industry were from DC even though Marvel was #1 overall as usual. Given how well Batman titles sell, maybe they'll just publish Batman 22 times a month.
Given how the Sandman Universe of titles debuted so high, they fell off really quickly. Every single one is out of the top 100. It seems that the only DCU titles that are out of the top 100 are the New Age of Heroes. I guess the public has spoken.
We already know that Green Arrow is getting canceled, but if the cutbacks rumors are true, then maybe they're NOT going to relaunch it so quickly. I would guess that both Hawkman and Supergirl will follow sooner than later. Obviously, Supergirl has a shot at survival because of her TV show, but Green Arrow also has a show, so who knows at this point?
We've also heard that the adult takes on Hanna-Barbera comics are canceled (like Scooby Apocalypse), but given classic-Scooby-Doo's position as the lowest-selling non-reorder title, it likely isn't long for this world either.
Looking at the list below, what are your thoughts on what DC will cut and what DC SHOULD cut?

The Terrifics is still published, it hasn't been announced to be cancelled. Same with The Silencer so far.
I seems to recall Freedom Fighters and Martian Manhunters being mini and maxi-series, respectively. And I fail to see why would DC can JLD, which is consistently great and sells well, and JLO which, while it had a rocky start, still has a strong following (I think) and allows them to develop a corner of the DCU rarely fleshed out without resorting to the usual Green Lantern Corps.
Supergirl has a shot at survival because of her TV show,
Don't forget a supergirl movie is in the works also. DC will want a comic out to promote it.
Would this effect the kids comics like looney tunes and dc supergirls? They are not part of the main dc universe and I heard they do well overseas.
That is TOTALLY speculative with no real, tangible evidence to support it at this point.
If that was remotely likely, don't you think they would have returned before now?
That the collected edition of their early 1990s run that DC has been promising for a couple of years (even listing the availability of it in their "DC Essential Graphic Novels" catalogs in both 2017 and 2018) would have happened by now?
Now, I'm not saying it CAN'T happen, but until a new JSA series is actually available in stores, I wouldn't say it's definitely going to happen.
Yeah, quite the opposite, it's getting a new creative team.
DC Superhero Girls is safe. It releases direct to TPB format and is part of one of the junior imprints. Looney Tunes I think is doomed. First Scooby Apocalypse bites the dust, now a team-up TPB has been cancelled. Have the rights been revoked?

Given Scooby Doo is owned by WB which also owns DC, it would be odd to revoke the comic book rights especially since this year is Scooby's 50th anniversary plus a new movie in 2020, I wouldn't be surprised if Team Up is replaced by a comic version of Scooby Doo and Guess Who?
