Looks like Disney got all their properties back now.

Not a surprise when you lost Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist in the same way though Jessica Jones still have the third season without knowing in what moment they are going to stream it.
Well, it was fun while it lasted.
Thank you to the cast and crew that made the shows enjoyable. Hope they find work on future.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!
I'm definatley going to miss those shows. Fun stuff.
Hopefully we'll see those characeters down the line somewhere in the MCU.
Not a lot of Netflix series go beyond four seasons (House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, and Bojack Horseman are the exceptions) and that is likely due to the revenue model they're operating under. Viewers taper off after each season so a series becomes less profitable, but for traditional television this is off-set by advertisers. Netflix doesn't have advertisers, so their franchises don't last that long. Its a lot like how the comic industry loves #1s because they sell the most.
It just goes to show that if the Netflix model really is the future, you simply won't have that many long running tv series. This isn't totally problematic, but (nearly?) all of the Marvel Netflix shows ended on promising another season, so its going to lead to a lot of series that have no conclusions, which I'm not a fan of.
#InGunnITrust, #ZackSnyderistheBlueprint, #ReleasetheAyerCut
Most series' do not get conclusions, though, as a result of being axed unexpectedly. None on this sort of scale, but it becomes difficult to cover every single loose end before a season comes to an end once world building really kicks in. It is kind of why the UK has the idea to do mini-series, I just am not a huge fan of them because they don't feel like they get to go far enough.
Though Disney won't be able to do anything with the characters for another two years. According to Variety not until at least 2020, or later. The deal for the original four Marvel shows, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist,
included a clause that keeps the characters from appearing in any non-Netflix series (or film) for at least two years after cancellation. So not only can't they be on TV, they can't even be in the MCU movies. So even if Disney does decide
to eventually bring the shows back Disney would probably have to reboot the shows because the actors probably don't want to sit around two years waiting to work again and probably will have moved on to other projects.
Told you all. I know some people were skeptical but as soon as they canceled Luke Cage it was obvious and inevitable. Next was Daredevil than these two.
I can’t really begrudge Netflix business wise either
The J-man
As expected. JJ was one of my favourite shows next to DD. I will miss them!
