I don't think Scott's overall behavior fits into bipolar disorder. Most of it is the result of abandonment issues and low self esteem. While he does get depressed quite often, that's the only actual mental disorder I would think fits him.

Extreme hero syndrome? He pretty much blames himself for everything and puts the weight of the world on his shoulders, add survivor guilt from survivng the mutant holocaust 3.0 because he's dead and he's what you get
Scott strikes me as a guy who prefers sorbet.
Haven't the faintest idea how Tyke 2.0 going from brooding/depressed/despaired to slightly more brooding/depressed/despaired has anything to do with bipolar disorder.
