Incredible Hulk #295 May 1984
"Turning Point!"
Story continued from Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #12.
Injured, the Hulk arrives back on Earth and it is apparent that a change is taking place within him.
And this is bad news for the assassin Boomerang!
Story by Bill Mantlo. Art by Sal Buscema and Danny Bulanadi.
Boomerang somehow became a supporting cast member......who knew he’d be interesting.......
Your statement seemed to imply after reading Superior Foes one would naturally find Fred interesting or at least more interesting than before, but I digress. Anyhow, I do not wish to drag this thread down with a debate about semantics so I'll say no more regarding this matter.
"So you've come to the end now alive but dead inside."
I've always had a soft spot for Boomerang though I couldn't tell you why. Maybe it was because his trading card was one of the first I ever got? I'm always tickled when C or D-list characters rise up the ranks to get some deserved time in the sun.

At least he gets treated better than Captain Boomerang in Identity Crisis
