According to Wonder Comics curator and Young Justice and Naomi author Brian Michael Bendis, in the second stage of the Wonder Comics imprint, an Amethyst series will be launched.
I do not recall if he stated that this will be a miniseries or not.

Yeah, I think we knew this, but I'm very excited! I like Amethyst, and she has been great in YJ so far. Glad to see more of her!

Well even if this is the case, a thread dedicated to it is good for the sake of speculation and what you want to see in the future comic.

I didn't know it. It's not like I'm looking in every thread to see if there's news about Amethyst. Having it in the topic title lets me know that there's news here I can check out.

This news was stated some months ago so this reconfirmation.
I also remember Bendis saying he asked a female creator and she said yes, he didn't specify whether that female creator was a writer or artist but I took it to mean he got a female writer for Amethyst.
We do not know if Amethyst is a mini or not tho.My priority is black female characters; everything else is secondary.
