    Default Favorite Black Marvel Hero?

    Just like it says.

Which hero, of (or at least consistently passes for) African descent published by Marvel is your favorite? And briefly, why?

I apologize in advance for potentially missing or miscategorizing anyone.

    Poll forthcoming.

I voted for Deathlok because I do love the service and tragedy of the character.

That being said, I was tempted to write in Black Goliath, the second black character(first seen in 1966, 2 months after the debut of black panther, in his Bill Foster, scientist guise) introduced to get his own series(short lived though it was).

Monica Rambeau, she was in the first comic I ever read and the biggest reason I love the Avengers.

War Machine. Always calls Tony on his BS was a great Iron Man and a hell of a hero on his own.. To me he is very underappreciated and should be respected more.

Wasn't there an option for Sam Wilson's main identity of The Falcon?

As for Sunspot (da Costa), have you ever made a poll here?
Do you know how many options you can have on a poll here?

And, was the original (1970s) Deathlok (Luther Manning) black, or just later versions?

    T'challa and Kasper Cole

Black Panther: Black and White/Ascension and The Crew were my first Black Panther books.

The cover for the B&W prelude issue looked dope and Kasper was Peter Parker if his life wasn't completely ridiculous and unbelievable.

Alex Wilder. I know, not exactly a hero if not a straight up villain. But if I had to make a list of favorite Marvel characters he'd be up there.

Cloak would be my second choice.
Continuity, even in a "shared" comics universe is often insignificant if not largely detrimental to the quality of a comic.

Never been a big fan of any of then, but if i had to choose Black Panther, conceptually speaking he is the one that appealed more to my tastes. None of the other are bad thought, i'm just not very passionate about then.
