Some vague “I was trying to protect you” line. It didn't really make much sense, especially after the “Mr. Oz is Jor-El” reveal (which hadn't yet happened at the point of Tim's escape).
The primary good thing about it was that it took place in the aftermath of Superman Reborn, and the writers of Detective Comics took advantage of that to reestablish “A Lonely Place of Dying” as Tim's origin story. This took place in a four (?) issue arc called “A Lonely Place of Living”, with cover art based on that of the aforementioned origin story.
That said, the majority of that “re-retconning” took the form of Tim recounting his origin to Mr.Oz as a distraction while he was implementing his escape plan. That one part of it was pretty good; in particular, I liked the way he wasn't just reciting facts but was explaining his motivations, which to me is what really differentiates his pre-Flashpoint and post-Flashpoint origin stories: pre-Flashpoint, his motivation was helping Batman; post-Flashpoint, his motivation was advancing himself.
Rogue wears rouge.
Angel knows all the angles.
Tim would be a millennial right?
Maybe his codename should reflect that?
Something like an internet handle or a hashtag?
#Robin3 ?
Millennial bands all have weird names that are almost sentences so maybe something like that?
My Robin Angst or Between The Failure And The Son? That would be sick.
Batman - Daredevil
Make him Juuler, Fornite, Apex Legend, Doc Tic Toc, or the Twitter.
Edit: American Eagle- the perfect upgrade from Red Robin

It's the Dynamic Duo! Batman and Robin!... and Red Robin and Red Hood and Nightwing and Batwoman and Batgirl and Orphan and Spoiler and Bluebird and Lark and Gotham Girl and Talon and Batwing and Huntress and Azreal and Flamebird and Batcow?
Since when could just anybody do what we trained to do? It makes it all dumb instead of special. Like it doesn't matter anymore.

Depending on the definition, Bruce would be a millenial. He's like what 30 now? No more than 35. That would put him at 1984 for his birth. I still think going back to the 80's is a bit far for millenial.
Gen X here, the best Gen
