I was only trying to clarify why I wasn't sure it fit in case worstblogever wanted to replace that entry.

    Whatever . . .

To the end of time we will sail the seas
    With cutlasses in hand
    We'll terrorize the land
Though the hands of fate may strike us down
    We'll fight 'til we fall
    Swashbucklers 'til we die

There are far too few covers featuring Howard Chaykin's 'brigand-for-hire' Dominic Fortune. This is one of them.

Marvel's "Mad" magazine was Crazy, not Spoof. Spoof was a comic book, not a magazine.

    Just want to clarify things.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

That was why I questioned if fit within the guidelines for this week's entries.
I guess I'll just have to change my entry, since Spoof somehow is out of bounds.

I like my new one much better, anyhow.

Does this count? There have been a number of entries so far that were published under the Curtis label but that had "Marvel" on the cover. This b/w comics series from Curtis didn't have "Marvel" on it (but all Curtis titles were published by Marvel's parent corporation). Anyway, you might like to see a cover from this series, whether it counts or not.

Counts seismic. Was definitely a Marvel mag.

LOL, for a second I thought that was Adam Strange on that cover!

I was considering using Unknown Worlds of Science Fiction myself earlier. Great cover, seismic.

When I initially saw this cover, I was thinking, "what is Silver surfer doing in a kung fu magazine?"

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Is that your entry Lord Mikel? If so, Guicho already used it back on page 1.

The Marvel magazines are the only back issues I still collect. Here is the series I am currently tracking down...

You can find a bunch of books I wrote stories for here. The weekly column is here.

Yikes....a lot of the covers I had thought of using were taken before I got home even. Esp since I had used this one before . I had bought this years ago but I think my brother has it stored with the rest of the family stash of comics that I had no room for.

So, a question. I am assuming that the Marvel Treasury Editions don't count?
