My last Spider-Man/Deadpool cover because the book is ending. Seemed fitting.

This is still a thing? Color me shocked.
"So you've come to the end now alive but dead inside."
Issue 50 was just solicited. This cover is not for that issue.

Yeah it is, that's Issue 50's cover.
It's not a surprise the book lasted so long, given that the trades have been one of their consistently best sellers, but also makes sense to not have a series last too long, especially one as so "outside the box" (content and chronology wise) as this.
It is good that Robbie Thompson did get to do a fairly lengthy run out of it, 28 issues in about a little over 1 year and a half. His most since Silk, which was 26 issues over 2 years.
It really ended when Kelly's run on the book ended, if we're being honest.
The spider is always on the hunt.
Rest in peace, soldier. Press F to pay respects to SM/DP for hitting that rare 5 & O.

Kind of surprised the title lasted this long, especially after Kelly and McGuinness left, but also not surprised to see it ending since it feels like the book has been heading to a conclusion for a while (especially with dipping sales).
I wonder if Robbie Thompson has another Spider-Title in the works.
