    I have a few thoughts.

1: Why is ASM #14 above #13? Did #14 have a rare variant?
2: Good debut for Friendly Neighborhood. But #2's placement? Should we be worried?
    3: Venom is hot.
4: That's not a good sign for the new volume of Champions debuting that low.

That's a really low debut for Champions.

I think FNSM #1's numbers were pretty weak for the first issue of a satellite. And yeah, that's a big drop to #2.

Definitely speaks to how important that immediate first impression really is. People still judge Champions by Waid's initial rather lackluster "How do you do fellow kids" run.

FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN took a drop

    probably cancelled after issue #12

unlikely SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN will be around much longer either

Superior is ranked higher than multiple flagships and new launches, so uh, too soon to call.

Champions is a book that leans more on digital and collections and it's at least going until #12. Waid >>> Zub tho.

When a title debuts with a #1 and #2 in the same month, the numbers on the second issue don't constitute a "drop" based on sales of the first issue.

It's more that the first issue hasn't hit yet so stores put their bigger orders on the first issue without knowing what the response will be yet and go lighter on #2.

And Superior Spider-Man seems to be doing just fine.

Superior and FN are both satellite titles. If they settle in at some mid-range number, they can go for some time.

Scarlet Spider got to issue #25 even though its sales dragged for ages and Spider-Man/Deadpool is just ending now at #50 and it's ranked low on the Diamond charts forever. So I think it's safe to say that Superior or FN will not be going anywhere for awhile.

Young Justice, for comparison, was 11th. Champions did beat all four Titans issues though.

But here's a funky stat. One place above Champions was Buffy the Vampire Slayer #1. A Boom Studios book! I think the only other Boom books to do so well are some of the Power Rangers Shattered Grid issues.

Nice to see ASM in the top 10, or around it.

All the titles dropping by their second issue just seem to be a given in a packed market. I'd rather judge by numbers then rank by this point.

It'll be interesting to see how Champions fares in emphasizing that. I'm curious if this will be the Marvel teen team that finally sticks (especially with the rumblings about them bringing the Young Avengers back).

    Arrow

Superior isn't doing as well as I thought it would. I fear for the future of the book if this trend continues into spring and then summer.

Damn, Venom is on fire (which the series deserves to be)!

Not too good for Ghost Spider. I wonder how long before it hits below 20K ?

I hope Miles evens out at that level. Ditto FSNSM

How did ASM gain nearly 30k readers for issue 14? Were there any special circumstances?

Also, it looks like I'm not the only one finding FNSM boring.
