Rotten Tomatoes removes Want To See percentages for films not released yet.

Interesting that the Want To See percentages have been removed for all films not released yet. I wonder why? Anyone know?

Wont be surprised if they do at some point remove audience and want to scores see or move them somewhere less prominent where you have to search for them. When its public knowledge that people are targeting and tanking the score for certain movies, especially when the movies center around women and people of color.. well I dont think it's good for business in the long run. Critics are atleast verified and people can say they are paid off or out of touch which is fine but atleast you know they are reacting to a movie they actually watched and can be held accountable because they arent anonymous.

Sounds like they have a plan to curb fake reviews and intentional tanking for this "Revamped" Audience score system. No idea how they can achieve that but I hope it works out.

Yeah, that'd be great. Then all we'd have to go on are reviews from so-called critics, the people RT deems worthy of having their reviews posted. Many times critics hate a movie and the audience loves it. What about those?

The audience score is pretty low too. It is 37% as of this posting. I wonder if that is RT's next step.
