Well. If the Ghost Rider doesn't wind up making an appearance, that was an acceptable substitution.

Ok. Whatever winds up happening, this was straight up brilliant.
Deke is Fitzsimmons' son. Alright, didn't see that coming. Well done, AOS
Grandson, right? He said the wedding ring reminded him of his grandmother's.
Yeah, that was a bit of a head explody moment.
Great episode. They resisted the temptation to go too over the top, as a Ghost Rider appearance might have been. (I fully expected him to come riding out of that rift.)
And good to see Deathlok again.
Yeah, that makes more sense. I missed when he said grandmother.
Agreed that this was a great episode. Definitely filled with mind-**** moments. As an aside, I'm glad they didn't go with this entire series being some kind of fever dream of Coulson's as he's dying on the operation table.
It also winds up giving you a potential future where they did indeed have a family even if the show as to wrap up at the end of this season.
Good thinking.
I just think that it'd be great if at the end they jump forward a few years and Fitz and Simmons have like 4 kids and they leave Deke to babysit his own mom...that'd be fun...
Glad to see Deathlok again. Would have been nice to pair him up with GR against Absorbing Man
