That red haired woman, Izel, is the Shrike's creator, wanna bet?

Izel seems rational, and the Shrikes' MO does not seem rational. It's rational for them... trying to spread their species; but why would a non-Shrike be interested in just wrecking world after world?
If she is the Shrike God, then I hope there is a twist somewhere to reveal the Shrikes aren't just mindless destroyers.
(All this talk of Shrikes keeps making me think of the Hyperion Cantos...)
I have to say, I previously didn't like the show for a bit. Now it's really returned to quite watchable and interesting. I used to barf on the "Ward", save the Nazi and make him good themes. Sarge - love him. Glad that the show has disconnected quietly from the MCU as it avoids the question of why all the other super assets don't show up.
The Shrike - wonder why they got the name. From the Hyperion books, the Shrike used to impale victims but was nothing like this thing or plague.
Yep, she's the beast Sarge is talking about.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
The post credit scene terrifies me.What did the chronicom did to fitz-simmons's brain?
I'd guess either a complete copy of their brains or some kind of back door into their brains...
I felt like this episode was a little slow. I mean things happened I guess but it seemed more filler to get to the final battle.
I don't know if it was intentional or not, but I saw of X-Men references in the episode: Toad (Brotherhood of Evil Mutants), and it looks like Shaman has a side-job when not working with Alpha Flight. Then again, maybe it's me

I'm pretty convinced that we're dealing with an alternate universe now. Deke mentioned is one of the other episodes that his continued existence is proof of the multiverse; we seem to have a version of Coulson from another universe, and there does not appear to be any Thanos in this dojo.
So for all intents and purposes, we are now out of the MCU Prime.
That's been said by the show folk. They are dissociated from the MCU.
