JLA/Avengers #4, probably my absolute favorite comic cover ever:

So many great covers already done.

    Something a lot more obscure.

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

This one has sentimental value as one of the first superhero comics I ever read
From memory, it was a pretty damn good read too

I considered going with a Sirens cover, since I really liked the book and, due to it's independent status and being relatively late in Perez' career (is it his last full comic book work?), it's not as famous as his work for the big two. I obviously went with what I already called my absolute favorite cover instead, but I really appreciate somebody else entering a Sirens cover, and you've got very good chances of getting my vote.

Ahhh! I was wondering if someone would go with Sirens which might well have been Mr. Perez's last known work. And, like Kai, I also enjoyed this book.

I believe this is the first-ever Perez cover.

You can find a bunch of books I wrote stories for here. The weekly column is here.

It's been fun seeing some of his non-Big 2 work. So in that vein...

This was a wraparound cover he did for Malibu. I had it and it was completely foil.

I really have to get to work faster on finding a cover. Just about all the ones I thought of are taken already!

This is about the only comic that I ever (intentionally) bought twice. I originally had the newsstand version, which didn't have the gatefold cover. But when my town finally got a proper comic shop, and they had this, I just had to!
