The reason is that I think HoC #6 just confirmed that at least some version of CoIE happened in this continuity.

Thus far, Heroes in Crisis seems to be taking an "everything happened" approach to continuity.

My headcannon is that whatever Dr M did to the DCU is starting to fall apart so everybody is remembering/experiencing different things

Has anyone noticed how HoC also seems to treat all Titans continuity as valid, despite the N52/RB massacre? Weirdly enough, the actual massacre was restored, as was the Protector.
