Admiral Akainu vs. Charlotte Oven

It's a battle of One Piece's biggest heat-powered antagonists.

In the one corner, the fourth son and fifth child of the powerful Charlotte family, a high-ranking member of the Big Mom Pirates, and wielder of High Heat Devil Fruit Powers. He is Charlotte Oven.

In the other corner, one of the Navy's most dangerous and feared Admirals (and, after the battle of Marineford, promoted to Fleet Admiral). Wielder of the Lava-Lava Devil Fruit Powers, he is known to show no mercy to his opponents. Also known as Sakazuki, he is Admiral Akainu.

What happens when these two ruthless and dangerous foes face off against each other?

Well, I suppose one of the main differences between the two is that Oven's Devil Fruit is a Paramecia type whereas Akainu's is a Logia type (the one that actually makes him transform into lava).

One would assume that he can since he's a pretty high ranking member of a Yonkou crew. But yeah, I don't think he ever explicitly demonstrated haki of any kind.

Not that it would do him any good since his opponent is dude that's held his own against freaking Whitebeard (until Whitebeard got uber-pissed at him for killing Ace that is). Oven's got nothing on that.

pretty much. sakazuki took some hella hard shots from a bloodlusted whitebeard and still kept coming. i don't particularly remember oven getting into those kinds of brawls, let alone throwing out enough power to even slow down akainu.
