Villains you wish Spider-Man to face?

In here you can write which villains would you like to see Spider-Man(Peter) to face in some stories.

For example in my opinion I think it could be cool if Peter ever faced aginst the Abomination in one of his rampages, adn Spider-Man would have to stop him, similar to the Juggernaut story but with the Abomination instead of ignoring Spider-Man, he is causing as much destruction as he can and Peter needs to save people and defeat the Abomination.

So what do you guys think?

Is this limited to just Marvel villains? If not, I'd love to see Spidey face off against Mr. Freeze, Clayface, Poison Ivy (from Batman), or Shredder (from Ninja Turtles). Each of those I've listed would pose interesting challenges for Pete.

Great list, and I agree with everything you said. As for who I'd like to see Spidey face off against: I'll choose either Matt Wagner's Hunter Rose, Prometheus (from DC Comics), Doctor Destiny (from Sandman) or Dr. Manhattan (from Watchmen).

An Untold Tale, featuring Spider-Man battling old-school (Tales to Astonish) costumed Porcupine, could be nice.

I'd go with the Minotaur from Jason Aaron's Thor. He's a top figure at Roxxon, which has been a major player in the Spider-Man comics, and a guy who has gone toe to toe to Thor should pose an interesting challenge for Spidey.

Emma Frost. I don't think he's ever gone up against a telepath before. He'd have to consciously guard his secret identity, not to mention she would know his every move before he made it.

not sure. he's gone against so many folks already. I don't think we ever got to see "parker industries" spider-man/Pete go up against Dr. Doom. Probably still won't happen. I also don't recall Otto-Spidey going up against Doom, either-- both of those raging egotists going at it might be amusing.

No, since Doom was acting as a hero at the time of Parker Industries' heyday. That said, I do like the idea of Superior Spider-Man vs. Infamous Iron Man.

That would be dope. I always like those moments where Peter fights against telepathy/mind control type attacks.

That was a missed opportunity... Peter is normally so outgunned against Doom that it would have been fun to see Peter with an equally large arsenal backing him up against Doom.
