    Default Meet The Skrulls

Really enjoyed Issue 1, far more than I actually thought I would. Probably my pick of the week. The mysteries and family dynamic looks more interesting than I thought this series would be.
Very similar to the Vision series, although this family want the opposite to blending in.

Looking forward to the rest of the series

The parents and older girl anyway. The younger one seems to have fallen in love with Earth.

Completely agree. Amazing stuff. Prefer it the Vision series so far.
Surprised it’s not getting as much interest.

I'm digging what I've seen so far, but I'm a man on a budget. Gonna have to wait for the trade, or maybe even Hoopla it down the line.
Continuity, even in a "shared" comics universe is often insignificant if not largely detrimental to the quality of a comic.

Unfortunately, I'm not. Unlike The Vision, this book doesn't star an established character. The Warner family are completely new.

It's not surprising. It's a fairly niche non-superhero book. I was going to get it, but I have one too many books right now to afford adding this.

Same. I was going to risk trying #1 but I didn't bother pulling it and couldn't see one in my LCS. I was hoping to hear some good talk about it but this thread is first I've seen so it's under most people's radar by now.

I'd say it is more like the spy drama "The Americans" but with shape shifting alien spies instead of Russian KGB spies, it's one of Marvel's good concepts. People are always saying "(insert marvel or dc) come up with something original" well Meet the Skrulls is it, imo.

Oh Meet The Skrulls is a 5 issue mini series (which makes sense, and if Robbie Thompson, and Niko H. want to pick up on the series with the two teen age daughter characters, then Marvel could pick up on it, or port the younger daughter character with sympathy to Earth over to Champions please {friendly suggestion Mr.Jim Zub}), my point is Meet the Skrulls is a mini series so enjoy it for the moment it's available
