    Default Meet The Skrulls

Really enjoyed Issue 1, far more than I actually thought I would. Probably my pick of the week. The mysteries and family dynamic looks more interesting than I thought this series would be.
Very similar to the Vision series, although this family want the opposite to blending in.

Looking forward to the rest of the series

The parents and older girl anyway. The younger one seems to have fallen in love with Earth.

This book is the shit. Really surprised more people aren't reading this.

Completely agree. Amazing stuff. Prefer it the Vision series so far.
Surprised it’s not getting as much interest.

I'm digging what I've seen so far, but I'm a man on a budget. Gonna have to wait for the trade, or maybe even Hoopla it down the line.
Continuity, even in a "shared" comics universe is often insignificant if not largely detrimental to the quality of a comic.

Die - Paper Girls - Runaways - The Wild Storm

Unfortunately, I'm not. Unlike The Vision, this book doesn't star an established character. The Warner family are completely new.

It's not surprising. It's a fairly niche non-superhero book. I was going to get it, but I have one too many books right now to afford adding this.

Same. I was going to risk trying #1 but I didn't bother pulling it and couldn't see one in my LCS. I was hoping to hear some good talk about it but this thread is first I've seen so it's under most people's radar by now.

Why is the teenage daughter so broody? Isn’t she supposed to,be a Skrull? Do Skrull teenage daughters act broody? It’s almost like the daughter is human. The Skrull parents shouldn’t have let their daughter drift away from Skrull and be more human.

Both daughters are teens. The older one seems to be loyal to the mission, but the younger one is going astray, developing emotions.

I thought one of the Daughters was dead. There is an empty seat at the dinner table.

Yeah, that's a third daughter. We've seen her in photos, her human form had red hair, instead of the black and blonde the others have.

I bet she was murdered after someone exposed her true identity.

I'd say it is more like the spy drama "The Americans" but with shape shifting alien spies instead of Russian KGB spies, it's one of Marvel's good concepts. People are always saying "(insert marvel or dc) come up with something original" well Meet the Skrulls is it, imo.
