The art seems to indicate that she was controlling the wind. Maybe Nature Girl has weather powers?

Well... that makes sense. Nature is a part of weather.

Not a fan of the art in this issue and much moreso the Extracts issue, but the story with Apocalypse and co. is going somewhere interesting. Hippy Apocalypse is something one wouldn't think they'd ever see.
We will never know exactly what race Apocalypse is, when Evan was depowered by Deadpool, he had brown skin, black hair, and blie eyes. It was the same when Apocalypse was depowered in Black: brown skin and blue eyes. So, yeah, he's probably not black, but he isn't white either.

That being said, you can argue that Apocalypse is often drawn looking black even with his skin being the way it is. To complicate matters even more, it'shard to present Evan or Apocalypse as not-white since it's just not a focus for them, plus their other issues just make the race thing seem rather small.

    Catherine: "Go to hell!"

Gabriel: "Heaven, darling. Heaven. At least get the zip code right."

Catherine: "It's all the same to you, isn't it?"

Gabriel: "No. In heaven, we believe in love."

Catherine: "What do you love, Gabriel?"

    Gabriel: "Cracking your skull."
Lol that is sort of funny for this situation.

And yes, Apocalypse isn't always evil. He sees himself as a necessary cosmic force for the betterment of the world.

But just as Magneto and Doom can still be awful people despite their best intentions, so is Apocalypse. I mean, who cares about intentions when you end up hurting so many people in the end?

Part of Apocalypse's story here is that we as readers have not really seen him in many years by this point. This is a guy who takes weak and scared people and offers them great power in exchange for giving themselves to him.
