Wait hold on why would consent be up for questioning?

Not saying it is but it has been shown that Nate has mentally manipulated the people in his AU into thinking and believing things that they wouldn’t normally. Hence everyone going along with his plan. Who knows if they would actually like or hook up with or have these feelings for each other in the 616 under their own agency?
some people are ocmpletely different, like Blob. Psylocke would never give a damn about him on 616
You can say that characters didn't gave consent to whatever they are doing in this AU, because they are different people brainwashed by Nate

I know this is a little off topic, but does anyone else get the feeling that Kitty and Apocalypse are going to be in a sexual relationship with each other? Because if they are, then, well, I can certainly see the consent issue there since Kitty would never willingly have sex with Apocalypse in real life.
That sounds like kind of the crux of the issue. In the Aoxm, they all have fake memories put their by Nate and they’re acting on fake memories they think are real. Kitty thinks apocalypse not a bad hippie commune guy because Nate brainwashed her into thinking that. Kitty with her real memories wouldn’t think that (I hope it doesn’t go there with kitty and poccy, because, eww...) Jean and bishop aren’t nearly as bad because they are friends/ teammates, but it’s essentially the some problem, they’re both brainwashed and acting on fake memories.
Idk in a lot of other AUs they actually are different characters entirely. From different dimensions or what not. So that would be a different story. Some are like this one though where they are the same people being manipulated mentally and physically. So if they do certain things with other people or things that they would vehemently be against, it’s definitely an argument for consent. We’re used to it from comics in general but it really is messed up if you think about it. Wanda’s just as guilty of this. Imagine finding out you did things with your body under the influence of a reality warper that you would generally feel was a violation of your person?
Zac Thompson said to read X-Tracts #1 before Marvelous #2.
If there is no 1,000+ post controversy when Kitty inevitably kisses Blueface tomorrow then I'm calling all ya'll out.
