I enjoyed it, picked it up largely on impulse. The concept sounded interesting, and I'm usually willing to give first issues a try. I liked it, kind of feels like it's setting up to be a less fantastical, more alternate history Avatar TLA in terms of tone. I haven't been keeping up with promotion for it so I don't know if that's just an off base first impression though.
In any case I did enjoy it, might wait on the collected edition to finish reading it however.
Continuity, even in a "shared" comics universe is often insignificant if not largely detrimental to the quality of a comic.
