Last time she's had an interesting costume within the X-books. Everything since has been a boring variation of the classic training suit.

Bringing over my post from the Costume thread since Kitty's Looks are being discussed here... I think the Guardians Costume is a serious missed opportunity for a great modernized Shadowcat costume.

Finally getting to KITTY PRYDE for whom this thread is titled.... I'm going to go with her post-Star Lady outfit from Guardians of the Galaxy (vol4) as her modern best. Designed by Valerio Schiti (?)
I prefer it in her ShadowCat colors rather than the Star-Lord brown, but I might switch up the color blocking a bit (too much pale blue? more white?).
I like how it references her previous Shadowcat look with the loose sleeves and almost dancer like leg warmer looking boots. LOVE the harness collar that closes into a ninja mask look.
Replace the Guardians badge with an X symbol and you have a great X-Costume.

I totally forgot about the Evolution look, that is definitely one of the best for Kitty.

Totally agree. X-Men: Evolution is my favorite animated program. The X-Men: Evolution - comic series is also a favorite of mine. I hope both will be brought back pretty soon.

It's the other way around. When Jubilee was created she was intended as a substitute for Kitty. They both served as Logan's kid sidekick, for one thing. Kitty only seems like a Jubilee knockoff because Evolution came so soon after the 90s cartoon.

This is true. Though in fairness, Evo came out before Whedon ruined everything so it was easy to ignore a relationship that at that point was nothing more than a curiosity like that time Daredevil dated Black Widow. WatXM deserves more credit for ignoring Kittylossus.
