This is the lighter version of X-Force Costume.
I think I also like this costume but it's Teen Jean Grey.

Not sure about the “Null Set as X symbol” motif, I almost think a traditional
x would look bolder and the Null X looks too Green Lanterny.

Maybe not at the very beginning, but Claremont definitely showed her as elderly before the end of his run. I mean, even just giving her full pants and leaving everything else as is would be a huge improvement.
*Actually went back and checked, we see her as an old blind woman first.

When they eventually opted for a more modest costume configuration circa Fall of the Mutants, the look made her look that much more fashionably mysterious... why the elongated beehive headpiece though? I wish she’d been shown to be all Amy Winehouse-y under her cowl.

I’m always torn, as the original Cockrum outfit is a design classic, it’s simplicity and unique design is instantly recognisable and unique. I’ve always had a deep fondness for the design of the red cutouts at the top of the boots and gloves, like Ororo’d diadem, it just works.
But it also dated now.
I loved the beard. Loved it. Made him look like a grown man rather than a horny faun.
See?
