I'm tired of the blue and gold look for Kitty but if I had to choose one I'd go with Ellis era Excalibur but it did last most of the rest of the series except for a handful of issues when she became Kat.

With the rumors that Scott and Jean are co-leading their own team, it would be awesome if Hickman were to allow the artist to design completely new costumes for them instead of old costumes or repaints of old costumes.

Just put Cyclops in the Adult Champions outfit from that new cover and put Jean in literally anything other than that spare Mardi Gras outfit.

Ninja? Looks more like her Bartender Kitty phase in X-TREME X-MEN series and the MECHANIX mini.

Those would have actually been pretty good. Kitty's would obviously need to change, but every costume except for Kurt's works. He's never had the blue and gold coloring so some tweaks would've been needed.

As for this Cyclops design:

It was actually an unused design from the original X-Men:TAS for the One Man's Worth two-parter. Basically their version of his AoA look. The episode featured a lot of the AoA designs straight out of the comics, but some were different. I think maybe the animation was done while AoA was still in the design phase?

And that AoA Wolverine was for the Wolverine and the X-Men second season concepts.

But speaking of Kitty... it's often been noted that her omission from X-Men:TAS was pretty glaring. After purchasing the new book, I was surprised to learn that her AoA counterpart was conceptualized but ultimately unused for the cameo sequence. Here's a shot from the book: (A mod can remove it if that's not ok to post!)

She's mostly grown out of it but I think even her recruitment as Red Queen in Marauders included a jab at her bad taste in outfits, and then there's the infamous StarLord/GotG jab via Bendis.
