The Clown Prince of Crime had one more trick up his sleeve—a thrilling, surprise final issue! How did Gordon escape Texas? What happened to Bane and Vengeance? Did The Joker get the last laugh? Find out!

I would really love to see more Jim Gordon content for sure.
Was anything mentioned about what Jim will do next in the July 2022 solicitations?

He's going to get backups in Chip Zdarsky's Batman run.

    Starting with which issue?

And who'll be handling the back-up?

My mistake! It's actually going to be in Ram V's new 'Tec run starting in July with issue #1026.

It will be written by Si Spurrier.

Hmmmm . . . doesn't seem like that tidbit was included in the issue's solicitation. (DC seemed to be gushing about Ram V's "turning Gotham into a tragic yet beautiful gothic opera for our eyes and ears to feast on", an idea I'm really not all that interested in for a main Batman title.)

Seems there is retro action figures of Commissioner Gordon and Batgirl.

I have to admit, for almost a year and a half, it's been fantastic to have James Tynion writing such a great Jim Gordon story with The Joker title. However, the time before that, with the stupid Year of the Villain Infected Jim, Castellucci Idiot Jim, and more, it pretty much sucked to be a Jim fan. I worry that we're heading into another bad period for Jim. I hope I'm wrong, but the backup in Tec really let me down.

I mean, I'm not a Spurrier fan, so the style really bothered me, but it felt like it wasn't even close the same character Tynion's been writing, or I've loved for 15 years.

    Oh...that's a pretty dramatic change!

I'm sure some disagree with me. It just felt so disjointed (and disrespectful) to me.
