While I don't want to bust any bubbles, that is a riff on Tom King's recent Mister Miracle series over at DC.

Of course there's gonna be X-news cuz we don't know what's happening after Age of X-Man.

I'm gonna be the little kid if Hickman is on the Eternals instead of X-Men

Instead, it is made up of two distinct 6-issue mini-series, to begin publication in July 2019.

And they are both to be regarded as “the next major milestone in X-Men history” apparently, and specifically compared to Len Wein and Dave Cockrum‘s Giant-Size X-Men #1, the 1991 Chris Claremont/Jim Lee X-Men #1, Scott Lobdell, Mark Waid and Robert Cruz‘s Age of Apocalypse and Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely‘s New X-Men.

    You know, these comics.

2 6-issue minis? I don't like the sound of that.

Sounds promising but hopefully the execution doesn't suck as much as Dissambled.

I mean I'll obviously be happy if it ends up being the X-Men, regardless of the title, I was just hoping for a long, ongoing commitment rather than miniseries. Long stories spanning multiple titles and characters are Hickman's forte, arguably.

I sincerely doubt these two minis will be the end. Rather, they will be the beginning and after that he takes over one or two main books. Sort of like Bendis and the Superman books, which started with a miniseries.

They're definitely launches, I'm most interested in there being two of them.
