I see that Hickman is still unable to tell one story in a single title. If the two require each other to be enjoyed they should really only be one book.

Lol they are apparently using words like "new", "different", and "radical" to describe this, but the first piece of art for it indicates time-travel/Battle of the Atom stuff.

I'm in for the ride, I can't remember any genuinely offensive thing Hickman has done in the past that hasn't been written well.

Honestly, I feel that as bad as Bendis could get during his Avengers run the individual titles could still be more or less enjoyed in isolation. Less so with Uncanny, and All-New at times but Hickman's titles are almost unreadable by themselves. Not to mention that the continuity he pulls from can feel like a brick wall.

After five long years, the mediocrity has finally ended!

One can only hope! Although I enjoyed Cullen Bunn’s run on Uncanny...one of the few books I can actually re-read. I will suspend my hpoes. but this is really good news. Hickman is a great writer. I really enjoyed his Infinity War book. It was what got me into comics. A good old fashioned ripping yarn.

1. I'm ecstatic about seeing Moira again. I hope she will be revived. Unlike other big X-deaths, she is barely mentioned, even though she was the mother of the X-Men. Therefore, her being dead does not actually serve any narrative role. At least when Xavier, Scott and Jean were dead, everybody mentioned them.
2. I like the Redcrawler design.
3. Very happy to have Hickman doing X-Men. I thought his FF run was absolutely divine! Don't mess it up!!
4. Why is Firestar in this? Not Polaris? Rogue? Gambit? Colossus?
