Default StarForce vs The Guardians of the Galaxy.

Korath tangled with the guardians of the Galaxy and lost, but how would his previous Black ops Kree team fare against the guardians?

All members of StarForce sans Captain Marvel vs the guardians from the first film (no mantis, no kid groot).

Standard equipment. MCU. Takes place in a xandarian city. Teams start 300 meters away and out of sight.

Bonus: power dampener Captain Marvel vs Drax. Who wins?

Honestly think the Guardians win easily.

Drax already defeated Korath, Gamora is physically stronger and more skilled in combat than all of Starforce, Star-Lord has a crap-load of gadgets on him that have briefly restrained Iron Man and Thanos, Rocket proved in Guardians Vol. 2 that he's actually a beast against groups of opponents with his standard tech, and adult Groot would be an absolute nightmare for Starforce (and, frankly, might even be able to solo them if he plays his cards right).

Re: The Bonus - I find it hard to see how Captain Marvel would put Drax down with her power-dampener on. He can take a LOT of damage (being slammed into the metal door by Ronan, getting dragged through the forest during that crash landing in Guardians Vol. 2 etc). But she could keep him at bay with her blasts.

I see that one going on for a while with Danvers EVENTUALLY wearing him down.

Total agreement with all of this.

StarForce was really lame and a let down.

Star Force wasn't bad, they were basically an evil Guardians of the Galaxy without a heavy hitter like Groot. Granting them all Kree physiology, they should be, on-average, at least more durable than everyone save Drax.

They still lose though because of the Guardian's superior weapons and mobility (due to flight rigs). And of course, Groot.

they could have shown them much closer to the comic book version to make them more interesting than generic kree warriors and closer to a specialized task force with each member having specific skills and power set based on tech or skill. would have made them more memorable like the black order.

On a side, I really love it whenever a hero team has to fight a team of villains where all the villains are physically superior to almost all the other heroes, whereas the heroes have a more varied power set. For example, the JLA vs. the Hyperclan (the White Martians).
