Lazarus pits. No one knows how they came to be, but the restorative properties of the waters within are powerful enough to overcome death itself. Ra’s Al Ghul failed to create an artificial pit centuries ago, carelessly letting his corrupt water seep into the oceans. This, Wonder Woman and Aquaman have to come to believe, is what warped the mind of Poseidon himself!
The two former Leaguers, with the help of unexpected allies Etrigan, Lobo, and Azrael, have finally located the source of the Lazarus infection - the false pit Ra’s created so long ago, now surrounded by an enormous citadel erected by forces unknown and boasting a mystical enchantment that permits only an accursed Al Ghul to open its gates...

Lex Luthor now owns the Daily Planet and Lois Lane is the Editor-in-Chief, an android of Superman's own making now plays the role of Clark Kent and a dangerous war criminal name from Krypton named Zod is now the Mayor of the "City of Tomorrow". Superman is also concerned about whereabouts of Jimmy Olsen who cannot be detected by any of his super-senses. Sooo many people to see, things to do and the world is watching the Man of Steel. However, all Superman is driven and compelled to do is to visit Latveria??!

But that howling in the distance sounds... demonic. I guess all dogs don’t go to Heaven, because this one just got sent straight to Hell!
