    Question Anybody did a comparisons of the various collected editions of Watchmen before?

    Please assist to advice!

    I haven't compared except between the original tpb which I still own, and the Absolute edition I also own. Just get the Absolute - it's gorgeous and really takes it to another level. It's my favorite comic series so I'm biased, but when I'm not reading the Absolute edition, I'm thinking about it.

    I'm pretty sure that every edition released in the last 10 years has been the recolor.
    Miller was right.

    The original paperback and the first Graphitti Designs slipcased hardcover have the original color.
    Ever since the Absolute was released, all editions have the recolored version, AFAIK.

    Every edition pre-2009, plus the original comics of course.
