I like a lot of what Cates does. However, as you said, his style tend to be very similar to the one of Aaron. Sometimes it's too close; a bit better or a bit worse. And that's not good at all.

I cut my teeth on Englehart and Starlin’s Cosmic works, and I absolutely love both Aaron and Cates’ Cosmic work thus far. The more they expand into Marvel’s cosmic realm, the happier I’ll be.

I mean, I absolutely abhor the thought of a version of Frank Castle being a Cosmic Ghost Rider, but Cates changed my mind. Plus Moore’s art is so great on this. I see notes of Marshall Rogers in his work here.

Trad Moore's art makes this. It reminds me a lot of Starlin's Silver Surfer in the same way it totters on the edge of surrealism. I thought it was a pretty good start and I'm glad I picked it up.

Because every A-list writer, for good or bad reasons, has haters. It come with success. And it's not really a bad thing if the critics have arguments to explain why they don't like a writer. If everyone like the the same things, this forum would be very boring.
