Basically if there wasn't any alternatives, maybe the sales would be higher. Or it would be lower since not everyone would want to read AU.

Likewise for Uncanny. But as others have pointed out, both the X-brand & comics' direct market, aren't what they used to be.

sales on the alpha issue were pretty good at our store and a bunch of people non x readers sampled the first isseus of some of these books but based on the first two weeks of march the age of x-books are dying weve already cut orders by close to 50 percent on all the books based on issue 1 sales numbers the books are well written but in the era where all teh big event books ususally double ship this is just going on way way too long...as for major x people on these boards can crap on liefeld all they want but our store is ordering twice as many major x than on any age of x-men book and it will sell

AOA sold well bc it was unprecedented. That was an original concept for the X-line

Attention, gamers! X-Force needs your help! All Boom-Boom needs is your credit card number, the expiration date, and the three numbers on the back. Hurry, before Stryfe gets an even worse costume!

    And that's okies.
I still won't be buying it...there are a lot of "acclaimed", fan-favourite artists and writers I personally will never ever follow...regardless of the books they're on.

Honestly? For a bunch of AU mini-series, these aren't terrible numbers. And, Marvelous X-Men aside, they're not very far below where I'd expect books with similar rosters and creative teams to appear if they were part of the 616/prime/wtf-ever we're calling it these days continuity. Heck, Amazing Nightcrawler debuted only 3K below where Claremont's solo series did.

This data feels pretty skewed. Sure it’s presenting the top sellers but not only is it only showing one week in March but only for Marvel only giving a fraction of the larger picture. Do you have the overall top sellers for February so we can compare the digital and physical rankings?

X-23 is actually rather impressively outselling several flagships. Hope it gets those juicy relaunch dollars.

Stop sleeping on Waid strange, though, general audiences.
